Mobile IV therapy near ASU

The square mile around the Tempe campus is the densest area we serve, and it behaves unlike anywhere else on our map. Almost every visit is an apartment, a shared house or a hotel room rather than a single-family home, and the busy weeks are set by an academic calendar instead of the working one.

Mobile IV therapy near the ASU Tempe campus — Elevate IV Solutions

Please note: Elevate IV Solutions is an independent business and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Arizona State University. We do not have a location on campus and we are not a replacement for ASU Health Services or emergency care.

We are a private mobile IV service that drives to this neighborhood. We are not part of the university, we have no clinic on campus, and we are not a substitute for ASU Health Services — if you are a student, that is still the right first call for anything medical, and it is covered differently than we are.

What we are useful for is the practical stuff: you feel terrible, you have no car, and the walk to anywhere in August is its own problem.

Around Campus

When students call us

Move-in week in August heat

Hauling boxes up several flights in 110-degree heat is the most reliably brutal day of the year around campus, and it catches out people who have just moved here from somewhere with weather. Rehydration afterwards is one of our most common August calls in this area.

Shared housing and whatever is going around

Four roommates and one bathroom means an illness works through the apartment over about a week. We often end up treating two or three people in the same unit on the same visit.

Finals and the weeks before them

Not sleeping, not eating properly and living on energy drinks for ten days leaves people genuinely depleted. We are busier around finals than at almost any other point in the Tempe calendar.

Game days and Mill Avenue

Home football weekends and the Mill Avenue strip produce a predictable Sunday morning. Nobody wants to drive anywhere for that, which is most of the appeal.

The Practical Part

What to expect

No car needed, because that is the whole point

The most common thing people tell us around campus is that they do not have a way to get anywhere. Between limited parking, a roommate who took the car and August heat that makes a fifteen-minute walk genuinely unsafe, getting to a clinic is often the hardest part of being unwell here. The nurse comes to your door instead.

What a visit actually looks like

A registered nurse arrives, goes through your health history and completes a Good Faith Exam before anything is started. The drip itself usually runs 45 to 60 minutes, and the nurse stays for all of it. You can sit on your own sofa, keep studying, or sleep through it.

Parking and getting into your building

Campus-area parking is the single biggest cause of a late arrival. Permit-only visitor spaces, gated garages and fob-access lobbies are all normal here, so put the gate code, visitor parking rules or a phone number for someone who can come down into your booking notes. It genuinely changes whether the nurse arrives on time.

When you should not book us

We are a wellness service, not urgent care. A high fever, chest pain, trouble breathing, a severe or unusual headache, a possible concussion, or being unable to keep any fluids down all need real medical care. ASU Health Services, an urgent care or 911 is the right call, and we would rather turn an appointment away than take one we should not.

Campus Questions

Asked by students

Are you affiliated with ASU?
No. Elevate IV Solutions is an independent mobile IV therapy business based in Gilbert. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by Arizona State University, we have no location on campus, and we are not connected to ASU Health Services. We simply serve the neighborhoods around the Tempe campus.
Can you come into a residence hall?
That depends on the building, not on us. University housing sets its own rules about outside visitors and medical services, and some halls will not allow it. Check with your residential staff first. Off-campus apartments and hotel rooms are straightforward, which is where the large majority of our campus-area visits happen.
Do I have to be 18?
Yes. We treat adults 18 and over. Anyone under 18 needs a parent or legal guardian present and consenting, which for most students is not a factor — but it does matter for younger siblings visiting on a campus weekend.
Can my roommates and I book together?
Yes, and it is common here. Each person still needs their own health history and Good Faith Exam, so allow more time than a single appointment. Message us with how many people are taking part rather than booking separate back-to-back slots.
Does my student health insurance cover this?
No. We do not bill insurance, including student health plans — payment is made directly at the time of the visit. We can provide a receipt if you want to submit it yourself, and HSA and FSA cards are accepted.
I have an exam in the morning and feel awful. Should I book?
If it is dehydration, a hangover or the tail end of a cold, a drip can help you feel more human. If you have a high fever, chest pain, shortness of breath, a severe headache unlike your usual, or you cannot keep fluids down at all, that is not a wellness appointment — go to ASU Health Services, urgent care, or call 911. We will tell you that on the phone too.
